The Ranger 149
The Swiss Army Knife of the Venture range of open canoes; the Ranger 149 will do whatever you ask of it, whether that’s whitewater exploration, lake based adventures or anything in-between.
The Ranger 149 boasts a predictable and compact design that’s easy to handle, making it ideal for beginners or those just wanting to keep things simple, and a relatively flat hull provides a super stable platform that’s perfect for fishing, bird watching or nature photography.
Whether you want a canoe that two children can paddle on a family adventure, or the ideal craft for a solo mission to find peace and quiet, look no further than the Ranger 149 for anything from day trips to overnight expeditions.
A firm favourite with families, centres, clubs and hirers; the Venture Ranger 162 is stable, highly versatile and supremely hard wearing.
Whatever your skill level, the Ranger 162 won’t disappoint; its relatively flat hull is remarkably stable and allows beginners to progress with confidence or intermediates to push their limits and reach the next level, and thanks to the low profile design you won’t have to fight to stay on course if the wind picks up.
Venture Ranger 162
Really will do it all, and reliably too! You can enjoy a tandem trip down a gentle river, take on some whitewater, pootle around a calm lake with the kids or even lash two Ranger 162s together, load them up and construct a sailing A-frame to blast off on an epic adventure with your closest friends.
CoreLite X takes the Venture Ranger series to a whole new level; you get all the same benefits as standard CoreLite, as well as an impressively stiff hull that performs beautifully on whitewater or the flat, a weight reduction of approximately 3kg that makes lifting the boat on and off the car effortless, and increased durability that lets you explore the shallower rivers or bays with peace of mind
