What is a rash vest?
Rash vests, also known as rash guards or rashies, are worn underneath your wetsuit in order to help protect you from rashes caused from abrasion between your wetsuit and your skin. In warmer weather, they can also be worn with a pair of board shorts or over a bikini to help and block some of the sun’s UV rays from hitting your skin (because of this, they are also known as UV tops).
