Delivery & Dispatch
All non-offer goods, where the order is valued over £150 are despatched free of charge within the UK (except N Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Isles and Highlands and Islands) & the following exceptions canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops and Stand Up paddleboards. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidised to reflect the above! We aim to deliver the goods within 2-3 days.
If you have chosen a different delivery option or live outside the UK then the equivalent amount will be deducted from your invoice total.
We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.
On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.
If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a claim against the delivery company and correct the problem.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
For stock items these goods are normally despatched within 2 days of receiving your order, by the delivery option you have chosen on the site, if applicable, otherwise we will contact you prior to dispatch.
For non-stock items please allow up to 28 days for delivery, but most of the time we endeavour to have the goods with you in 7 days. Please call or email prior to ordering if you require the goods for a specific date.
We will of course keep you fully up to date on the progress of your order and offer you a suitable alternative or give you the option to cancel the order if we can’t supply the goods within an agreeable time frame.
Delivery to addresses in the U.K
All goods will be dispatched to you by the cheapest option to yourselves either via Royal Mail, Parcelforce or TNT. If the amount charged by the website is different to the actual cost, we will contact you before dispatch for you to authorise the transaction.
Delivery to addresses outside the U.K
Cost of delivery to addresses outside the U.K. with the goods weighing under 2kg packed weight and under 90cm length will be sent via Royal Mail, if the goods are over these dimensions the cost is dependant upon length, width and diameter, to give you the volumetric weight of the consignment and so individual quotations would be provided. The goods could be sent via Road, Air and Sea or with a specialized courier (DHL or UPS), dependant on the customer’s requirements.
Normal delivery services within E.U countries are from 2- 7 working days.
Delivery to addresses outside the EU
For deliveries outside the EU we can offer the goods V.A.T free. All prices shown on our website include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 20%. Goods will be supplied to non-EU countries with the VAT deducted. To calculate the amounts without VAT multiply by 0.8333.
If you have placed an order we will contact you with different shipping quotes for the customer’s approval before dispatch or alternatively you can call or email for advice or quotes on sending your goods before placing an order. There may be additional import or tax charges when shipping outside the EU.
Collection of Orders from Our Site
Collection of orders can be arranged. Collecting your orders is sometimes very beneficial as you have the option to try items on, see before you buy, receive advice and you are not having to rely on couriers or shipping companies or waiting in for your order to arrive. The order will normally be available for collection within 7 days.
Returns & Warranty procedure
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 28 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.
Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 28 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.
You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition. We will pay for postage back to you of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.
Please return by a secure delivery method, as we cannot be held responsible for non-arrival or damage of goods upon return. We would recommend you use Royal Mail recorded or special delivery or a courier for tracking and insurance purposes.
If however, you return an item to us that is faulty, which you did not order, or for any other reason that is our fault, we will also pay for the cost of the return postage. If this happens, please contact us first and we will let you know how you should send the item to us.
Goods that have been used cannot be returned unless there is a warranty claim for the product.
Most products are supplied with a manufacturers 12-month warranty against defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Certain items may be excluded from warranty such as latex seals, used goods and sale or end of line items. Wear and tear, accidental or intentional damage or inappropriate use are not covered by any warranty.
On all returns, please can the following be supply in order to process the return as fast and efficiently as possible.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
