Waterhaul Adjustable Eyewear Strap

A secure, sustainable and adjustable eyewear retainer strap compatible with Waterhaul sunglasses and prescription glasses frames.Handmade in Looe, Cornwall, by Behaviour Change Cornwall, using ghost fishing nets collected from the Cornish coast. Finished with stainless steel beads, engraved with a batch number used to trace where the net has been recovered from.

• The nets are carefully washed, untied, and worked to remove kinks, before being trimmed and tied to create an eye-catching, functional and adjustable eyewear retainer strap.
• Designed for adventures (and to ensure your recycled sunglasses don't end up returning to the sea!).

• Custom-made to fit the entire Waterhaul frame range, and the adjustable loop design means they should fit with most other eyewear frames too.
• The length of the strap can be adjusted, depending on if you want a tighter fit behind your head, or a looser fit while your sunglasses are hanging around your neck.
• Straps can be positioned in front of or behind the ear on the temple of the frame, depending on personal preference.

TRACEABILITY

BATCH BY BATCH

• Each eyewear strap has come from a specific ghost fishing net, collected from the Cornish coastline by Behaviour Change Cornwall, represented by a batch number that has been laser engraved into the stainless steel beads on each strap.
• Our current batches include 001 (black) collected from Perranporth Beach, and 002 (green) collected from Kynance Cove.

• Length: Max 30"/76.2cm Min 16"/40.6cm

Fitting:

• Insert the tip of the sunglasses arm through the loop on both sides. You can use the stainless steel bead to loosen or tighten the loop for a more secure fit to your frames.
• To Tighten: Pull the two knots away from each other.
• To Loosen: Hold both ends of the strap and pull in opposite directions.

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

At this time, please can you contact us before returning any items, so we can advise delivery and best practice

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
