Dynamic Reactivity

The Black Jack is a modern white water kayak that perfectly bridges the gap between a river runner and a creek boat. High volume and high rocker give it the dry line ability and buoyancy that a full on creek boat needs. A flat bottom and a pronounced rail deliver dynamic reactivity even on mellower waters.

Efortless Turing
The tips of the boat seem slicey, but are high volume due to their width. That allows the paddler to turn the boat effortlessly with only a sweep stroke, paddle precise lines in big volume, but also stay high and dry over steep drops.

285 Liters
With 285 litres of volume the Jack is built for paddlers between 60 and 85 kg body weight. Without edging it seems to run independently from cross currents, but presents a dynamic edge performance already in modest lean angles. Because we limited the width of the hull, the Jack is also predictable in shallower waters.

Reduced Design
Because we target the Jack also to smaller size paddlers and women, a low weight was a necessity. We shook everything off that looked like excess and came up with a reduced design that represents the white water Zeitgeist of the 21st century. No matter if you are beginner, intermediate, or expert, our new kayak is your “Jack of all Trades.”

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

At this time, please can you contact us before returning any items, so we can advise delivery and best practice

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
