A legend. Hou Canoes takes on the all time classic, The Chestnut Prospector. Made from there new A.R.N.I3. material and in triple tough makes the weight around 30kg's unbelievable for a canoe of this size, which gives increased performance and makes it very easy to transport.

This canoe was originally designed to paddle well on both open water such as lakes, and also to paddle well on moving/white water rivers. It had to paddle well unloaded but also had to be able to carry a good load on the return journey. Today we still want the same from our canoes, all be it for different reasons. This boat paddles well on lakes and rivers, and will give you a dry, predictable ride whether you are solo or loaded up for a multi day trip. This classic design is all things to all paddlers, the ultimate all rounder.

With the boat being pitched at just over 15 and 1/2 feet in length it is also the ultimate do everything boat. No longer do you need to look at a 15 and 16 thinking, the 15 is what I want for the solo days, but the 16 will be better for tandem and tripping days, now you can have it all in one boat, the Hou Canoes Prospector!

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

At this time, please can you contact us before returning any items, so we can advise delivery and best practice

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
