A narrow cruising blade shape with small surface area and increased neck-to-tip length. Suiting lower-angle paddling, power is transferred gradually into the stroke as the blade submerges, reducing fatigue when used on long days. With VE’s unique Aircore spine adding strength and buoyancy and a carbon shaft increasing stiffness and further reducing weight.

Touring-lite construction

Our lite lay-up reduces blade weight by up to 30%, creating a lighter and more supple feel; suited for touring paddles. By reducing material weight and removing layers in the multi-step tip, the blade is 60% thinner at the end, making for a lower swing weight which helps reduce fatigue over distance. All VE paddles are made using pre-preg composites and the touring models use the same construction and resin systems in the spine as standard constructions – providing essential strength and rigidity in key areas.

Storing

We strongly recommend that you store your paddle with the ferrule in an open position, not closed. Storing it in the open position ensures the ferrule is not under continuous stress and it will lengthen the service life multiple times.

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
