Security Leash
It is recommended to use a security leash to prevent loss overboard . This leash here is a 2mm cord tied around the pump locked into the grooves of the pump. The knot used is a slip knot.

Maintenance
This pump can be taken apart to clean it. The red base is connected with a powerful "push-click" mechanism; it cannot be pulled apart by hand. Warm up the plastic and use a tool to prise apart the two elements. Use a coin (50p) covered in tape or a 1.5mm flat head screwdriver covered in tape. Insert in the gap and gently twist to open. The red base will slide off to reveal the lower rubber valve (do not lose it as it can easily fall out of the red base) and also reveal the base of the piston. The piston is secured with a stainless 8mm nut. Unscrew the nut to pull off the piston and piston damper. The handle and 7mm stainless rod can now be removed. Once cleaned spray inside the pump with silicone spray.

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
