The Ace of Spades rewards an active paddle style because it accelerates with little effort, retains speed over drops and holes and does not go astray in crossflows. Changing edges is effortless and quick, the upper hull is optimised for predictable resurfacing. The hull’s moderate rocker line makes for easy boofing without the boat losing speed.

Half round, half flat

The hull shape of the Ace of Spades combines the advantages of a round and flat bottom: When paddled flat, it is agile and turns with little effort; when edging, it pulls very dynamically into the eddy. However, the edges of the Ace of Spades are not aggressive like those of a flat-bottomed boat but react smoothly if you touch a rock in steep water or use an adjacent rock to boof.

Big, but slim

Despite its volume of 320 litres, we designed the knee area of the Ace of Spades to be slim and smooth in order not to hinder an upright and active paddle technique. The cell around the cockpit and the back of the boat also provide a lot of freedom for movement. So paddlers from 65 to 100 kilos feel at home in the Ace of Spades although when checking the specs, you could gain the impression that the boat is designed for larger paddlers.

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

At this time, please can you contact us before returning any items, so we can advise delivery and best practice

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
