Introducing our Droskyn Dune hexagon shape sunglasses. This unisex frame in a cool sandy grey, inspired by coastal dunes, has been meticulously crafted to suit a variety of face shapes and sizes, complementing various outfits and occasions, making it a perfect addition to any wardrobe.

Made from 100% recycled fishing gear recovered by Waterhaul from the UK coastline, this hexagon shaped frame is particularly flattering for small to medium width faces. Paired with our polarised mineral glass+ lenses, offering complete sustainability and full UVA/UVB 400 protection.

Featuring a modern hexagonal frame design with geometric elements inspired by the angular rocky sea cliffs of Droskyn Point, shaped by the harsh Atlantic Ocean and Cornish mining heritage. They complement a wide range of face shapes, from round and square to oval, heart-shaped, and diamond. Presented in our Dune colourway, mimicking the dusty sand and sage tones of coastal dunes. • ABBE VALUE: 59 vs. 32 for conventional plastic lenses
• Mineral glass has by far the greatest optical clarity of all lens materials. There’s a reason why photographers use glass lenses: plastic mediums disperse and distort light. The optical clarity of a glasses lens is measured with an Abbe value, with lower numbers representing greater dispersion and unwanted chromatic aberration.

Sustainability

RECYCLABILITY: INFINITE vs. plastic lenses not currently recycled

• Glass is infinitely recyclable and is widely recycled. In comparison plastic, optical lenses are made from virgin plastics, aren’t domestically recyclable and also produce microplastic when cut to shape.

Technology

REFLECTION FACTOR: 1.47% vs. 8.6% for un-coated plastic lenses

• All of our lenses are equipped with an industry-leading anti-reflection coating on the inner surface of the lens, which eliminates distracting light reflections from light entering from behind the lens.

EXCULSIONS APPLY

We offer a free delivery service on ALL UK mainland orders except for canoes, kayaks, sit-on-tops, some Stand Up paddleboards and paddles over 1.5m in length. These and all other carriage rates have been subsidized to reflect the above!

We take great care to ensure that everything we send you is carefully packed to arrive in good condition and is insured whilst in transit.

On arrival please inspect package for any signs of damage. If none is apparent you can either sign for the goods or insist that you open and inspect the goods before signing the consignment note.  

If the consignment note is signed and the goods are later found to be damaged we cannot deal with any claim for damage.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.
For your peace of mind NorthShore Watersports has a no quibble 30 day returns policy and no re-stocking fee.

At this time, please can you contact us before returning any items, so we can advise delivery and best practice

Any goods purchased from NorthShore Watersports can be returned unused within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. The goods must be in the original packaging, with all labels and tags intact.

You are responsible for return postage costs to us and the goods must be in an 'as new' condition.

Please put a note inside with your order number stating whether you would like an exchange or refund.

If goods are being exchanged, Northshore will pay the postage back to yourself of the new item except for canoes, kayaks and paddles.

Overseas deliveries

As of 01/01/21 the United Kingdom left the European Union as such we are now a non-EU country.
Please be aware that Import Duty / Fees are applied when the goods arrive in the destination country.
The receiver of the goods is responsible for paying the destination country’s Import Duty / Fees.
Goods will be held by Customs until any outstanding payments are made. If payment is not made the goods will be delayed, returned to the sender or the goods destroyed.
Northshore is NOT responsible for any Import Duty / Fees, does not know the amount to be paid nor has any contact with Customs in any destination country.
Should the receiver refuse to pay the Import Duty / Fees (which is a legal requirement) ALL shipping charges both sending and returned costs the sender is billed will be deducted from any refund owed.
